The newly built Hajia Railway is located in the central and eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, and is a key construction project in the national medium and long-term railway network planning. It started construction in July 2014, with a designed speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and is a passenger and freight mixed track railway. The total length of the line is 343 kilometers, passing through two cities and three counties, with 19 stations including Harbin and Taipingqiao. After the opening and operation of the newly built Hajia Railway, the history of no trains in some areas along the line will end, and the train operation time from Harbin to Jiamusi will be shortened from about 7 hours to less than 2 hours.
Since the joint debugging and testing of the newly built Hajia Railway on May 1st this year, China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has undergone dynamic testing of track, roadbed, bridge, communication, and signal equipment, making the entire line ready for trial operation. During the trial operation, the high-speed train unit will conduct parameter tests such as time, speed, mileage, as well as fault simulation, emergency drills, and driving according to the diagram to test the equipment and facilities along the line, as well as the overall system stability and capacity, so that the newly built Hajia Railway can fully meet the operational requirements.
According to a person from China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the newly built Hajia Railway is located in a high cold area, with the lowest winter temperature approaching minus 40 degrees Celsius. During the construction period, the construction unit overcame problems such as long freezing period, short welding operation time, complex geological conditions, weak and broken rock layers, and high underground water content, and adopted measures such as installing insulation and cold prevention in tunnel drainage ditches to ensure the quality and safety of the line in high cold weather.
The newly built Hajia Railway passes through numerous tourist attractions in Heilongjiang Province. After its opening and operation, it will be connected to the Harbin Qi High Speed Railway and the ongoing Harbin Mu and Mujia Passenger Dedicated Lines, building a "two hour economic circle" in Heilongjiang Province. At the same time, it will integrate the Harbin Da High Speed Railway into the national high-speed railway network, which is of great significance for promoting the construction of a modern new Longjiang.
